Solarchess, Battle for the Dreamstone

It is often refrained that dreams are the gateway to the soul. They are the bridge of neuron induced images which guide us towards the nature of ourselves and our subconscious, despite the regular dour coat put on by common reality. For it is through our dreams that life attains meaning. Even far across the folds of fantasy and the wildest of imaginations, where solar powered sailboats cruise across space and aliens turn to raiding precious cargo, the value of a dream can surpass that of the finest metals.

              Out on the infinite sea of the Aether, in the dark places between stars, a mighty solar galleon known as the DreamTrawler has wrecked itself over the expanse. Its cargo: a precious bauble known as the Dreamstone. A fragment of possibility, a crystallization of hope, a repository of wishes. Out from the dark, two fleets of ships assemble to steal the Deamstone for themselves, and neither are keen on sharing. And into the melee the story goes, and nobody knows where exactly the Dreamstone ended up. That was a long time ago, and while the battle itself has come and gone, to this day admirals have debated, mused, and dreamt of what would happen if things were handled differently.

              Take part in the glorious pastime of Alien Admirals: Solarchess, and reenact the battle which decided the fates of all hopes and wishes across the Aether. Whether it was fiction, whether it was found at all is irrelevant. What matters is the dream, both stone and story, and now you will be able to take part in that grand tradition.
